THE HAMMERHEAD BRUSH CLEANER

TM

A simple innovation in the cleaning of art brushes.

THE SECRET 👀

By segmenting the mouth of a jar, the user is given three sections of clean solvent to clean a brush, ensuring the cleanest possible bristles. Paint settles to the bottom.

This is the best option on the market!

OIL PAINTERS - Fill with Mineral Spirits

ACRYLIC PAINTERS - Fill with Water

WATERCOLORISTS - Fill with Water

BONUS POINTS 💫

  1. Dislodged paint settles to the bottom of the jar displacing any solvent lost by a wet brush or evaporation. You will rarely have to “top off” your solvent.

  2. The replacement lid makes removing the jar top easier (no unscrewing).

  3. No need for paint to go down a drain, whether it is heavy metals in oil paint, or plastic in Acrylic paint. Let it settle in the jar.

  4. The Hammerhead Insert and Lid are made of recycled PLA, and are compostable (city strength composting).

Paint settles to the bottom.

THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT 💡

I owned a few brush cleaning contraptions over the years and found myself always cleaning my brushes in dirty solvent. The cleaning palette was always layered with old paint and removing that old paint from the receptacle was an incredibly filthy job.

I thought, the cleaning palette should be at the top of the jar, not the bottom! That way the paint can settle away from the cleaning palette.  Then the jar could simply collect the settled paint with no need to remove it.

So I made my own!

But then I designed a way to split the top of the jar to create multiple sections of pristine solvent in one jar and the Hammerhead Brush Cleaner was born.

I hope you find using it to be simple, effective, and strangely fun!
